Girls Basketball Game at Camp Tioga

Today 9th grade played Camp Tioga in an exciting away game. From the start of the game the young ladies were in attack mode. Francesca G showed off her flashy ball handling skills as she drove to the basket to score her first two points for Starlight. Francesca was accompanied by Morgan S and Samantha B as leading scorer with 6 points. Not only did Morgan and Samantha score 6 points but they also lead the team with steals and proved to be a powerhouse in the point snatching in 7 rebounds. Samantha also contributed in a major way by being the silent assassin; doing everything her team needed. We wouldn’t have held Camp Tioga to only 14 points without the help of our defensive specialist Jessica W who came to the game and locked down Camp Tioga’s star player. I am very proud of these 13 young ladies and the season is looking very promising.
