Dear Starlighters:

Thank you for being part of another incredible summer at Camp Starlight. We truly appreciate how fortunate we are to spend the summer together as the Starlight family. Our spirited campers, fantastic staff and wonderful parents make being a camp director the most fulfilling profession. We couldn’t do it without you!

Campers, thank you for the “good morning” shouts, the smiles, the laughs, the high fives, the hugs, the Juniors in the premier of Jungle Book, the Eagles meetings, the nok-hockey games, the hockey periods, the songs in the dining room, the Apprentices, the Spirit of Starlight, the Wayne County Championships, the sound of the echo of taps bouncing back across the lake, the choo cha chas, the singing of friends and the alma mater, the Upper Senior traditions, the campus pride, the campfires, the warmth, the spirit, the street sign and scrabble board, and all the fun. We thank you for these treasured memories.

Staff, thank you for making our campers’ experiences so memorable. Your dedication, hard work and endless enthusiasm is what makes the summer so incredible for our campers. As we told you during orientation, being a camp counselor is more than a job, it is a life changing experience. We thank you for letting Camp Starlight be a part of your lives and for enriching our campers’ lives as well.

Parents, thank you for your confidence in us to provide your children with a safe and memorable summer. We appreciate you letting us have the opportunity to share these special moments with your children. Your continued support of Camp Starlight has helped us succeed in developing such an incredible camp program.
